International in the House

The Georgia Council recently played host to the 12 coolest economic educators in all of Latin America. Hailing from Argentina, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, the guests came to the states on a Council for Economic Education study tour to learn more about the delivery of economics and economics-related programs here in Georgia.

Special thanks to Chris Cannon at Sandy Creek High, Shelby Garner at Spring Hill Elementary, Stacy Dockter at Piney Grove Middle and Sherilyn Narker at Druid Hills High for letting us invade their classrooms. Special thanks #2 to everyone at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for the great tour and luncheon. Special thanks #3 to everyone at Lockheed Martin for the amazing tour of the C-130 plant. Special thanks #4 to our friends at Georgia Power for taking us all out to the ball game to see the Braves put it to the Milwaukee Brewmasters.

Happy trails my friends. It was an honor and a privilege!
